This workshop will focus on playing with found materials to explore narrative and develop new ways of looking at pictures. Participants will be playing with shape, texture and colour to create imaginary creatures or characters and discover playful methods of storytelling. There will be opportunity for older participants to try their hand at storyboarding for a miniature graphic novel or picture book.
This event is free and runs for five hours feel free to drop in.
For Glasgow Zine Fest events, we use a sliding scale ticketing system for all programming unless otherwise stated. You can choose to pay £2 to £4, £4 to £6, or £8 to £10 for all events, workshops and talks that require tickets.
Please be honest with yourself and your financial situation. If you purchase a ticket at the lowest end of the scale when you could afford the higher ticket prices, it makes it harder for us to provide financial flexibility to those who need it.
Talks and panel discussions will have BSL interpretation. BSL is available for workshops upon request please let us know before 1 April 2019.
