How can zine librarians catalogue zines in a way which is cheap and easy, and also meaningful to zinesters and readers?
If zine librarianship isn’t diy-led by the zine community, then who is it for?
This workshop invites zine makers, zine readers, and zine librarians to discuss ideas around cataloguing such as content notes, anonymity, anti-copyright, and how it feels to have work catalogued in ways which might feel at odds with diy radical content. You will also have the chance to contribute to a collaborative zine which will then be shared with the UK and Ireland Zine Librarians group.
Get Your ticket here
For Glasgow Zine Fest events, we use a sliding scale ticketing system for all programming unless otherwise stated. You can choose to pay £2 to £4, £4 to £6, or £8 to £10 for all events, workshops and talks that require tickets.
Please be honest with yourself and your financial situation. If you purchase a ticket at the lowest end of the scale when you could afford the higher ticket prices, it makes it harder for us to provide financial flexibility to those who need it.
Talks and panel discussions will have BSL interpretation. BSL is available for workshops upon request please let us know before 1 April 2019.
