A series of workshops based on the research and collections of the Bi History project, aimed at LGBTQ+ people – in particular bisexual+ people. The workshops will provide an opportunity to learn more about bisexual history, engage with that history directly through archival materials from the bi history collection, respond creatively to these histories by creating zines, and creating zines that are a record of bisexual history themselves. Workshops are open to all but will be most enjoyable and relevant for bisexual+ people and people from the wider LGBTQ+ community.
This session will begin with a talk and discussion about researching the history of the LGBTQ+ community, in particular the bisexual community and the challenges and opportunities that can bring up. This is followed by an interactive session discussing and looking at archive materials.
This event is free, but ticketed. Donations are welcome!
