CREATIVE DIRECTOR

LD is the founder and Creative Director of GZL; as well as having a hand in the day-to-day work of all aspects of the library, they handle all of the big decisions, and direct the vision, goals, and mission of the organisation. They work alongside out Programme Manager to deliver our year round programming as well as Glasgow Zine Fest.

DIRECTOR/OUTREACH/FINANCE

As well as being our co-Director, Chris is our Outreach Coordinator and finance guy. He’s responsible for developing our audience, and organises the external workshops that we run with our amazing friends all over Glasgow and beyond. If you’re wanting to bring GZL to you, he’s the guy to talk to!

MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS

Siobhain is our Marketing and Communications Coordinator. She promotes the Library’s work, including our programme of events and festival, as well as promoting what’s happening in our community. If you’re DMing Glasgow Zine Library on social media, it’s Siobhain on the other end, and she’ll help you share your zine callouts and community events. 

FUNDRAISING MANAGER

Saskia is our Fundraising Officer. She is responsible for securing funding through grants, sponsorship and more, to support our archive and community arts, heritage and cultural activities. She has a background in community heritage and is also a freelance writer. 

PROGRAMME MANAGER

Eloise is our Programme Manager. She takes care of our public programme, comes up with ideas, and finds and supports our amazing collaborators to make it happen. She is concerned with keeping GZL on track in delivering its aims, identifying gaps in our offerings through audience feedback, developing accessibility, and handling day-to-day communications and operations.

ARCHIVES AND COLLECTIONS MANAGER

Nic is our Archives and Collections Manager. She looks after the Library’s growing collection of zines, focusing on the development of the collection and its long term preservation. Nic and Caroline work together to catalogue the Library’s collection of zines and ephemera in collaboration with makers and local communities.

ARCHIVES AND COLLECTIONS ASSISTANT

Caroline is our Archives and Collection Assistant. She catalogues the Library’s collection of zines and works to develop it further as it continues to grow, finding ways to support GZL users’ access to resources through representative, inclusive collecting.
