Application Hub is a peer-support collective for artists and creatives to support the hidden and unpaid labour of being an artist. These monthly sessions take the power of body doubling to run as a two-hour focus group using a gentle Pomodoro structure: we’ll set goals together, do short bursts of deep work, check in with each other, and end with a short moment to decompress.

Learning to code? Working on a project? Working on a game? Want to start coding but don’t know where? Need help figuring out particular software? These monthly meetups are a chance to share and discuss any coding-related projects with a group of like-minded peers. Those just starting out with coding are absolutely welcome to come along and get some help in a relaxed environment. Some monthly meetups will have a guest speaker/workshop covering a specific topic or software.

Being Mixed is a self-organised community for mixed-race people to connect with eachother. Starting in 2021, we organise regular potlucks and meet-ups across Glasgow (and beyond). Being Mixed a place where you don't need to over-explain your identity and growing up between cultures is just understood.
Our monthly meet-ups at Glasgow Zine Library bring people together through creative activities (zine-making, collage, writing, skill-sharing) with the understanding that making things together is its own kind of connection.

Comic Club provides a social space for people interested in making comics or any other form of visual storytelling. Participants can bring an existing project to work on, start something from scratch, or just spend the time sketching and doodling. The group aims to be a supportive and informal environment where all levels of experience are welcome, and participants can learn from each others’ talents, techniques, and interests.
