Lean on Weans: A Support Group for Creatives

Please note: this event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.

Sometimes being a creative can feel like you have an endless list of stresses. So we bring you Lean on Weans, a monthly, no pressure, meet-up, where you can chat about your stresses big and small, to people who might be facing similar situations.

Lean on Weans is a peer-to-peer support group, a space to talk and listen. It is not a therapy or counselling group and there will not be qualified counsellors present. Each participant is asked to be self-responsible in regards to their emotional wellbeing and what they choose to share. This group is not suitable for people who are in crisis or experiencing severe mental health difficulties. If you feel like you need medical help or mental health support, please contact your GP. Please ensure you read the Safer Spaces policy before you attend.

CW: Depression/Anxiety/Suicide
