GZL x GAMIS Local Shorts

Please note: this event will be held outside at the Bat Lab.

Join GZL and GAMIS for an evening of films from our local community! Screening at the all new Bat. Lab. outdoor cinema as part of Govanhill International Festival.

All films will be captioned and suitable for audiences aged 12 and above.

Please note: we can only issue refunds requested 72 hours before the event.

What is the Bat. Lab.? The Batson Street Laboratory or Bat. Lab. is a new experimental open-air screening space adjacent to the historic Govanhill Picture House, 49 Bankhall St, Glasgow G42 8SW built from a shipping container and recycled planters supported by Glasgow City Council’s Animating Spaces Fund and built by the Govanhill Baths Up Hub.

If you have any specific access requirements please indicate when reserving a ticket and we will do our best to meet any requests within our limited budget. We are more able to meet requests made at least two weeks in advance. Events may be recorded for access reasons, and we will inform participants if this is going to happen in advance.
