Please note: this event will take place online.
With 2022 coming to an end, let us harness the last full moon of 2022 to clear away any energy from the last year and allow space for new intentions and beginnings into 2023.
This workshop is one of rest, restoration and letting go. We will gather in a small online group where blankets, cosiness and cushions are encouraged. We will discuss the importance of the first Full Moon of the year and its connection to the season and how it sets the foundation for the year ahead.
We will settle into a releasing meditation to ease into our practice and time will then be allocated to taking time to write down what it is you would like to release, let go of and set free during this session. There are no rules or time constraints on what you should write. Examples may include a past negative experience, a belief pattern that doesn't serve you anymore, stagnant energy etc. Whatever comes up for you is what is meant to be released. Self-compassion and kindness is at the heart of this exercise.
You will write what you wish to release on water-soluble paper (which will be sent out prior to the workshop) and we will then take our paper to a water source and wash our worries away using a sink, basin, bath etc. It is thought that doing this activity collectively creates even more powerful energy to let go and release old patterns and energy.
Please note: While there is the option to share what you would like to release, no one will be made read their work aloud so feel free to get as detailed and as personal as you would like.
We will finish the workshop with some quiet reflection and a collective card reading, as well as a grounding meditation to take us back to our bodies and the space that we’re in.
I look forward to sharing this space with you and letting go of whatever it is we are craving to release of to allow for more flow, more alignment and more joy.
Materials:
You will be provided with water-soluble paper so we would just ask that you bring a pen to write with as well as a candle if you have one. Additional items which you can set up around you are crystals, essential oils or any oracle card decks you may have, however, these are completely optional.
You will, of course, have the option to continue in creating ritual for yourself well into the night after the workshop and you are welcome to journal, continue with meditation or have a cleansing bath or shower.
