Emotional Literacy workshop with Tom Krasny and Chris Sheridan

  • Glasgow Zine Library 636 Cathcart Road Glasgow, Scotland, G42 8AA United Kingdom (map)

In this participatory workshop, you will explore and develop your emotional literacy through tracking emotions, feelings and sensations.

We will introduce key concepts such as interoception and neuroception, followed by short solo and duo exercises that will demonstrate them in action: we will direct our attention to the mind-body connection by tracking emotions, feelings and “micro sensations” allowing ourselves to detect small changes in external and internal stimuli. For example, temperature, texture, location of the sensation, etc.

This workshop is designed for people who are curious about increasing their emotional attunement, literacy and to learn about nervous system tracking. It will be the first iteration of a series of workshops that will explore these themes further. You’ll have the opportunity to get a sense of our praxis, and if you might like to join the longer process in future (there is absolutely no pressure to commit to anything beyond this one workshop, though!)

Please note: This event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.
