Please note: this event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.
Fire Cider is a traditional herbal remedy consisting of various common kitchen ingredients left to steep in apple cider vinegar for 4-6 weeks. It has been consumed traditionally to boost the immune system and ward off a variety of different ailments. Recipes can be easily adapted based on the season and what’s available. During this collaborative workshop you’ll learn about the medicinal benefits of Fire Cider, the secrets of its ingredients and how to use it. We will be making a batch of Fire Cider in the workshop and partcipants will be able to take a batch home.
You will need: a glass jar with lid (approx. 500ml-750ml) to take home some fire cider.
