Please note: this event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.
Join poet Gray Crosbie for the launch of their new zine That Wild Time of the Month.
Being a trans masculine werewolf is hard. It’s even harder when your period reappears just in time for the full moon.
That Wild Time of the Month is a story-in-verse which explores the challenges surrounding transness and transformation, and delves into the intricate interplay between identity, desire, and societal expectations. We meet our werewolf as he navigates menstruation, sex, stigma and barriers to healthcare, alongside the constant heartbeat of friends who don’t let you hide who you really are.
Readings and music from Gray and friends will be accompanied by wolfish snacks and a chance to get your paws on a copy.
Gray was commissioned to create this zine as part of Glasgow Zine Library’s Mythologies for a Future Scotland programme.
Content Warning: mentions of sex and stigma around STIs.
