This is a drop in event, no ticket required!

Come celebrate East and South-East Asian (ESEA) Heritage Month at Glasgow Zine Library with this special afternoon of workshops, live music and food! Drop-in between 1pm-5pm on Sept 10th for activities including:

  • Paper-making with Sean Wai Keung

  • Recipe-sharing/collaging for all.

  • Cameron Wong McDermott will be running a drop-in workshop on "Connecting Social Justice, Human Rights, and Our Cultural Identity"

  • Yiwu music from Chris Lau Manson

Gomo Kimchi will also be selling snacks from 2pm and we would also like to invite people to bring their own things to nibble on if they like!

Please note: While this is not a closed or private event it is a celebration of ESEA community and creativity, as such we especially welcome people who identify as East and/or South East Asian - including Mixed, British-Born and students of course!

Access information for this event:

This is a drop in event. During this event, attendees will participate in: small group discussions, hands-on activities, writing, sharing work that has been created in the workshop, eating and/or drinking, sound/music.

This event will take place at Glasgow Zine Library's place on Albert Road. You can find directions here.

You may be asked to wear a mask at this event.
