Sersi: Release Party and Gig

This event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.

We invite you to a weird and wonderful night of music to celebrate Sersi's new musical collection! We have three wonderful queer musicians performing for us. They will be bringing melancholy, whimsy and deep queer Joy!

About the performers:

Johanna Kirkpatrick is a Glasgow based singer/songwriter and guitarist. She is best known for her work with Scottish trad band Madderam. She is currently a member of queer folk band Chanterelle. Johanna draws on influences in the Scottish Trad scene and beyond in her powerful, direct and memorable songs.

Bobby Kakouris is a neuroqueer singer-songwriter and producer based in Glasgow. They craft short alternative pop snapshots that are by turns beautiful, playful and tragic.

Sersi, the sea-witch transmasc bish, is a singer-songwriter, pianist and drag/performance artists that performs soulful and intimate piano/vocal music and ballads - often telling stories of marginalised struggle.

All this alongside wierd and wonderful burlesque, drag and performance art pieces created to disconcert and delight.

Ticket information

This event is suitable for ages 18+. There will be 30 attendees maximum, and the event will feature comfort breaks. During this event, participants will be involved in: watching live music

This event will take place at Glasgow Zine Library's place on Albert Road. You can find directions here.
