Innocence & Corruption: A talk on youth oppression with Aiyana Goodfellow

This event will be held online.

Children are oppressed. Patriarchy is not a gendered hierarchy. Schools are prisons. Whether you agree or disagree with these statements, you are invited to join us...

During this event, we will explore concepts and themes from teenage author Aiyana Goodfellow's newest book 'INNOCENCE & CORRUPTION: An abolitionist understanding of youth oppression'. The talk will include an overview of anti-child ageism (term coined by Aiyana Goodfellow), a reading from the book, and a Q&A/group discussion.

All attendees will gain an understanding of youth oppression and patriarchy. You do not need to have read the book to attend, but this will be a useful opportunity to ask further questions, if so! Purchase your copy here.

CW: Youth oppression and abuse.
