Zine Making + Pottery Painting Workshop

  • The Craft Pottery 48 Washington Street Glasgow, Scotland, G3 8AZ United Kingdom (map)

Please note: this event will be held in person at The Craft Pottery.

Bring your ideas to life on paper and pottery in this hands-on workshop with The Craft Pottery and Glasgow Zine Library (GZL). We will explore zines from the library’s collection then make our own zines using an array of playful materials. The GZL team will guide you through using your zine to develop design ideas for painting your pottery. You will then have plenty of time to turn these into your own unique mug, plate or bowl to take home.

Everyone will choose to paint a small mug, plate or bowl. If you choose to paint something different you can pay the difference on the day.

You will take home your zine(s) with you. You leave your painted items at the studio, and return in about a week to pick up your fired (master)pieces. All fired items are food, dishwasher, and microwave safe (though we always recommend hand-washing for longevity).
