Queer Craft Club

Please note: this event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.

This group is for anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+.

Queer Craft Club is a community run monthly crafting meet up. Each session a different member will teach us their favourite craft from collage to lino print to embroidery. Anyone can sign up to run a workshop with lots of help from members. We vote on the theme in the whatsapp chat each month. An invite link to the chat is at the bottom of the page. All supplies provided.

This month’s craft: knitting.

This event is sliding scale from £4 to free. Donations taken on the night. 20 spots maximum. Please sign up to confirm your spot and cancel on eventbrite if you can't make it so spare spots can be used.

- Masks required unless exempt. Blue surgical masks not allowed. Good ones are FFP2, IIR, N95, KN95. Spares will be available.

Access information for this event:

There will be 20 attendees maximum, and the event will be seated. During this event, attendees will participate in hands-on activities. The event will feature comfort breaks. The environment can be quite loud but a quiet space is provided. The activity leader is happy to repeat instructions if needed.

This event will take place at the GZL space on Albert Road. You may be asked to wear a mask at this event.

The library is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet.

GZL pledges to support The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel. As part of this pledge we may participate in strikes called in response to the ongoing genocide in Palestine. If this event falls on a strike day and is cancelled, we will work with event leaders to reschedule the event asap. Participants will also have the option of receiving an immediate refund for any ticket purchases and travel booked to attend.
