Please note: this event will be held in person.
playmymixtape: pick&mix is a zine making social connecting people to Glasgow’s creative identity through swapping physical media, be that a CD, magazine, tape or book.
This event is for everyone–whether you’re a gig-goer, love reading books or simply enjoy creating in the presence of others. No matter what you’re into, you’ll be able to meet others and make something that reflects your interests.
You'll spend the evening trading physical media with each other, creating mini-zines to take home and producing content for playmymixtape's first print issue – our very own pick and mix.
Where else better to find your new favourite book? Or to find out why a CD is so significant to a stranger who may have passed you by?
Bring your curiosity and your media of choice, and don't forget to add a song to our collective playlist when you RSVP!
Activities will be documented and featured in playmymixtape’s first print issue later this year.
6:30pm for a 7pm start
We'll have a soft start to give you time to check out Monorail Records and order drinks and food. Mono will be serving food until 8:30pm. If you plan to eat at Mono, please arrive early to get your orders in before we get going at 7pm.
Any questions, get in touch at events@glasgowzinelibrary.com.
