Exploring DoxyPEP: Risks, benefits and sexual wellbeing

Are you interested in learning more about using and negotiating DoxyPEP to prevent common STIs like chlamydia and syphilis?

Join Dr Chase Ledin (Edinburgh Medical School) and Rachel Jardine (artist) for a free evening workshop using illustration and creative techniques to explore the basics of DoxyPEP use, benefits and risks, and strategies for negotiating DoxyPEP in your sexual and romantic relationships.

No previous art and illustration experience is required, and all are welcome to attend!

About the event leaders

Chase Ledin is a Lecturer in Social Science and Medicine at Edinburgh Medical School. Chase is a specialist in HIV/STI prevention, public health engagement, and science communication.

Rachel Jardine is a queer sexual health illustrator and creative, based in Glasgow. Rachel uses illustration as an accessible way to educate, inform and display sexual health topics.

Ticket information

This event is 18+. There will be 15 attendees maximum, and the event will feature comfort breaks. During this event, attendees will participate in: Group Discussions, Hands on activities, Writing, Sharing work that has been created

This event will take place at the GZL space on Albert Road in Govanhill. You can find directions here.
