Cataloguing Literature

  • Glasgow Zine Library 32-34 Albert Road Glasgow, Scotland, G42 8DN United Kingdom (map)

This event will be held in person. Check out our other cataloguing workshops.

Dive into Glasgow Zine Library’s collection of literature zines in this workshop where we’ll catalogue work together and discuss how to categorize different work. Do we separate literary zines by genre, form, theme, subject matter? We have all kinds of literary zines including poetry, fiction, memoir, essays, illustrated tales, creative nonfiction, and serialised stories, on topics from animals, pop culture and sleep to dementia, disability and belonging. Come along and read some of these zines and have your say in how we catalogue them!

No writing or cataloguing experience required.
