Queer Read-in Club Glasgow

  • Glasgow Zine Library 32-34 Albert Road Glasgow, Scotland, G42 8DN United Kingdom (map)

Please note: this event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library and is open to LGBTQ+ people.

Join us for the new Queer Read-in Club. Not your usual book club, this is a social space for LGBTQ+ people to come together and do one of our favourite things, read.

The idea behind a read-in is you bring something you are currently, or want to start reading, we gather together and after getting a beverage of your choice we all settle down to an hour and a half of uninterrupted quiet time to just read.

Once that time is up people who want to can stay for the social part where we get to say hello and chat to each other about what we are currently reading.

We want to keep the social part at the end so people don’t feel any pressure to join in. Queer Read-in club Glasgow is new so we will be working out exactly how the social / book chat part at the end works over the first few meet ups.
