Sex Positive Reading Group

  • Glasgow Zine Library 32-34 Albert Road Glasgow, Scotland, G42 8DN United Kingdom (map)

This event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.

The Sex Positive Reading Group is for anyone interested in learning more about sex education, sexual health, how we relate to the people around us, and how society impacts that. We welcome people of all genders, sexualities and ages in a non-pressured, non-academic setting.

Reading materials will be provided and we'll be reading one chapter per book: we want anyone to feel and be able to participate! Pillow Talk will be handling ticketing. If you have accessibility requests or other queries, send them an email at pillowtalkscotland@gmail.com.

Suggestions for a healthy conversation:

- Don’t assume anyone’s race, gender, class, sexuality, or ability.

- Be mindful of how you show up in the space - do you usually talk a lot or don’t talk much? - Try to step back if you tend to talk in the group easily, or step forward if you don’t.

- Respect other people’s knowledge, questions, thoughts, and experiences.

- Don’t feel pressured to share your personal experience, but feel welcome to. If you do, be mindful of how it could impact others.

This event is part of our Community Led Programme.

About the organisers:
